Let Your Life Shine Community Outreach Ministries, Inc. began feeding the homeless on a weekly basis in September 2002. In addition to offering food, personal hygiene items, and shelter, LYLSCOM, Inc. initiated an attack against the crippling deficiency in reading skills among adults and children.  In June 2004, we began the I Can Read Literacy Academy with a 2004 I Can Read Summer Camp.  Our future plan is to structure an after school reading safety net in addition to the Summer Camp initiative.  Our classes offer the most effective teaching practices in reading instruction. Our goal is to open a school.  Our facility will provide positive alternatives to the present forms of negative influences and destructive life choices.

After observing the tremendous need of people on the streets of Atlanta, Georgia, LYLSCOM purchased a house in August 2003 that was converted into a transitional home - which provides temporary housing.  Come and join us as we harvest souls into the Kingdom and save and restore lives into becoming productive members of our global community.
